it helps to have a sense of humor

Sometimes things don't turn out as planned. You gotta be able to laugh at your mistakes.



This "mug" was all that remained of my intended jar (see next post); I'd started with a pound and a quarter of clay, split off a bit for the lid, and, when the jar flopped, decided there was no point in throwing just a lid.... so I did this. Ha ha.

I did fire and glaze this piece and ended up with a small shot glass... sort of.
