look what I found!

In going through some stored boxes, I came across these items that I'd thrown while taking classes at a studio in West LA in the early 90s. Clay body is an unknown, groggy, high-fire clay.



This may be the first lidded pot I'd ever thrown:

Sorry, Life's been interfering again. It has a nasty habit of doing that. Travel and job changing and a mess at home.... the usual. Then my "kiln connection" has been too busy to synchronize schedules with, so I've got a backlog of bisqueware ready to glaze that I can't get to for a couple more weeks. I should at least got in some more throwing time but I've been too busy for that lately and it will take some careful scheduling to work that in now. Sigh.
