look what I found!
In going through some stored boxes, I came across these items that I'd thrown while taking classes at a studio in West LA in the early 90s. Clay body is an unknown, groggy, high-fire clay.

This may be the first lidded pot I'd ever thrown:

Hi... Have you stopped writing? Looking forward to seeing your new works.
Sorry, Life's been interfering again. It has a nasty habit of doing that. Travel and job changing and a mess at home.... the usual. Then my "kiln connection" has been too busy to synchronize schedules with, so I've got a backlog of bisqueware ready to glaze that I can't get to for a couple more weeks. I should at least got in some more throwing time but I've been too busy for that lately and it will take some careful scheduling to work that in now. Sigh.
that sounds like life :) Do take care and hope to see your works again.
