mudjoy

Where there is mud, is there not also joy? I, for one, say Yes. I count myself among the creative sort and I count clay among my most favorite creative mediums (and I have lots of faves). What could be more exhilarating than to take a shapeless lump of clay and, using your hands and simple tools, transform it into an expression of your inner self? Have wheel, will throw. today's throws

Laguna cone 10

A friend of mine requested a vase in green. Up this this date, this was the tallest item I'd ever thrown. Sadly, it still is (as of April, 2005).

Another bowl for my sister's house.

Posting photos to a free blogspot account requires first that you have access to a server on the net where you can upload the images. I happen to have a local service provider account (ISP) that offers webspace access; I upload my images there first, then include a link in the blog entry pointing to the image's URL. The html code is very simple to do this so you don't have to become a programmer.

blogger.com's help file on the process is very clear. But you still need a host for your image files.
