Where there is mud, is there not also joy? I, for one, say Yes. I count myself among the creative sort and I count clay among my most favorite creative mediums (and I have lots of faves). What could be more exhilarating than to take a shapeless lump of clay and, using your hands and simple tools, transform it into an expression of your inner self? Have wheel, will throw.
