I'm late! I'm late for a very important... plate.

After a small hiatus, back at the wheel. I'm still using up old scraps of clay I've been lugging around for years. This is a groggy, low-fire clay body obtained gods know where or when.

Having a commission from my brother, I'm gearing up to produce several place settings with dinner plates, dessert plates, saucers and tea/coffee cups. First I have to retrieve my kitchen scale so I can attempt some modicum of consistency among throws. A certain party has been reluctant to respond to my request for their return. I shall send him a box sufficient to contain the scale (and some wheel bats I left behind at his place) and money for postage. Or maybe just the money.
